I listen with my heart in a way that connects folks with their own.
My Story
I’m a warm, down-to-earth empath with a dry sense of humour.
Before becoming a registered psychotherapist (q), my non-linear career spans community development, copywriting, Holocaust education, advocacy for older adults, health‑tech startups supporting rare-disease patients and habit change, and public service at the Ministry of Health’s Digital Health Services Branch. Everywhere I worked, I noticed a pattern - I wanted to know people’s stories and sit with them in their grief, joy, pain, and doubt.
After deep exploration of my own, I trained for five years to become a registered psychotherapist (q) and also qualified as a yoga and mindfulness practitioner. I also hold an MSc in Gerontology (the study of aging, with a focus on caregiver burden, existentialism, and body changes). These skills let me work authentically, patiently, and compassionately with people seeking deep, heart-centred healing.
